Dairsie Castle, by Kemback

Today we cycled over to Cupar for various bits & bobs. On the way home this afternoon at about sunset time, the mist was rising on the fields -the air was very still and humid, and the grass and leaves were all encased in droplets of water.

When we got to this side of Kemback, where the road runs alongside the Eden beneath Dairsie Castle, I stopped and took this panoramic photo. I didn’t have have my camera with me so this is an effort using my phone which to be honest is rubbish.

You can just see the tower-house peeping over the tops of the trees, right of centre.

We got some eggs from the cottages a bit further along. There were also lovely field mushrooms on the verges but as usual along there, they were all eaten away from the inside.
